Intimate Conversations is a devotional book by Alicia Britt Chole. I haven’t yet had the chance to read all of it. The parts I have read are excellent. Alicia is an excellent writer and is able to nail me (and probably you when you read this book) right between the eyes.
Things I’ve thought or said because I wanted them to be true, I’ve come face-to-face with the fact that they aren’t true. Or at least they aren’t always true.
Here is an excellent quote from the book:

Exactly. That is one thing that stopped me cold. I’m still processing it.
