Stretch Marks.

No, I’m not gonna talk about those nasty things. But about a book I read recently.

Stretch Marks by Kimberly Stuart and published by David C. Cook is a good book. I read it in about a day.  I got lost in the pages. I lived this book, I could see it all in my minds eye.

The book starts off with Mia, a 20-something vegan free thinker.  When she finds herself pregnant and not married, her live-in boyfriend bolts. And Mia starts to change. She sneaks meat into her shopping cart. She finds herself sleeping on the conveyor belt of the grocery store. How long can she keep all this a secret? And what of Adam, the local grocer’s son who keeps popping up in her life?

The one thing I did not like about the book is God gets no more than an occasional glance. This book is written by a Christian author and is published by a Christian Publisher. If you want a good story, like any book you might check out at the public library, this would be a good one. If you want a little more Christian influence, this would not be a good book for you to read.

(I was sent a copy of this book by David C. Cook Publishers for the intense purpose of reading and reviewing. )
