Not the kind of speakeasy we all think of though.

I speak to easily…sometimes. There are times when honestly I haven’t a thought in my head, besides “Oh no! No one is talking I must think of something intelligent to say”. I usually never do.

But I’ve become a pro at saying something stupid. I am almost convinced Proverbs 17:28 was written just for me.

“Even fools are thought wise if they keep silent,
And discerning if they hold their tongue. “

I have a bad habit of saying things I haven’t thought of yet. There are times it is a good thought I haven’t had yet, and other times it is down right embarrassing.

Like when I say:

“Hey! I thought you had class!”

“I have a question, Mark!”

“Welcome Matt!”

“Hey, what’s up, Chuck?”

My life would be so much easier if I would learn to think before I speak, easier but a lot less funny.
