Come again?

I saw these on church signs, CHURCH signs.

 

Even Jesus had a fish story.

(I.e: it’s okay to lie because Jesus did. Uh. Sorry, but no. He didn’t.)

 

God couldn’t be everywhere so He made mothers.

(Not even gonna try)

 

Does anyone else see a problem with this?

  2. Not so much the first one, except that they put it on a sign. I don’t think that takeaway was original intent. He did talk a lot about fishing and being a fisher of men. That mothers comment I have always adamantly disagreed with.
