I’ve been running around like crazy-crazy for days and the first three days of this week are not any better. So suffice yourself with a few pictures.

My 12-year old on her birthday. Last year we had a CLUE birthday party for her. It was super. I named each room in my house after a room in the game of CLUE, we asked each guest to dress as one of the characters in the game. They were given cards just like in the game.

This year I was in a quandary as to how to celebrate her birthday because last year was so perfect.  A few weeks ago the girls and I found a super, ginormous Barnes and Noble bookstore. We were pressed for time and didn’t get to spend as much time as we wold have liked there. So the idea was hatched. We would take Beanie there for her birthday weekend.

We have a cousin who doesn’t live too far away, and she has a daughter who also has a 12th birthday this month…on the 19th. We called them and asked about the possibility of getting the girls together for the weekend.

The weekend was perfect!
